Procedure to change your Twinkly devices' names on the app
Applies to Twinkly Generation I and Generation II devices, Twinkly PRO and Twinkly Plus.
Renaming your Twinkly device, or group of devices, can be not just a fun way to personalize your Twinkly Device list but can be really useful to recognize your devices that usually are listed with their product names, above all when you have many of them, or if in the future you should add other ones; it will be a lot easier to identify them.
Renaming devices is also useful when you want to give them an order when applying an effect.
When using the Area group (which creates a scenario between different layouts), we suggest naming the devices sequentially (001, 002, 003 etc.)
This is very helpful to make the installation consistent in applying the effects.
To change your deviceor group name, just open your app, and follow the steps below:

make sure your device is online (green dots)

tap on the LED icon on the bottom right corner of the screen,

clic on the > icon next your Twinkly device or group

change the name of your Object/device or group
Otherwise you can choose the name of your device even immediately after configuring it.
