What is the password for joining the Twinkly network?

How to access your Twinkly network

Applies to Twinkly Generation II devices, Twinkly PRO wi-fi controller and Twinkly Plus (Generation I devices do not require login passwords to access the Twinkly network)

All Twinkly devices generate their own Wi-Fi network, called Twinkly_XXXXXX*, which allows you to connect your phone or tablet to manage the device as an alternative to connecting to your home Wi-Fi network.
This is especially useful when you decide to place your Twinkly Lights far from a Wi-Fi network!

The Twinkly network does not have an internet connection; the use of Twinkly device is restricted when connected to its direct network. You can learn more about this in this article.

Unlike Generation I devices, which do not require a password to access the Twinkly network, Generation II devices require a dedicated password, just like any other Wi-Fi network.

To log in to your Twinkly network for the first time, use the Twinkly2019 password.

It is important to know that according to the recent California Law, the default password needs to be changed after the first use, to avoid other people taking control of the lights.

This is why you will be required to change your Twinkly network password as soon as you connect for the first time.

Once the direct connection password (default Twinkly2019) is changed, the user will be disconnected, and will have to go to mobile device settings to select the Twinkly_xxxxxx Wi-Fi again, set the new password, and, once connected, open the app again.

Remember that if you reset your device, next time you will access the Twinkly_XXXXXX network you will have to re-enter the old Twinkly2019 password (and then change it)
