Here's how you can adjust the brightness of your lights simply by using your Twinkly App.
This article refers to Twinkly Generation I & II, Twinkly PRO and Twinkly Plus
Through the Twinkly App, users have the ability to conveniently set and modify the brightness levels of their lights, allowing for a personalised lighting experience that can suit various moods and occasions. This feature is particularly useful for creating the perfect ambience in any environment, whether it be for a festive celebration or a quiet evening at home.
To begin adjusting the brightness, you will need to access the control panel of the app. This can be easily done by clicking on the Controls icon, which is located in the toolbar at the bottom left corner of the screen. Once you have accessed this panel, you will find intuitive options that allow you to fine-tune the brightness settings to your preference. The user-friendly interface ensures that even those who may not be tech-savvy can navigate the app with ease.
How to adjust the brightness through the control panel
The control panel functions also include the possibility to choose the perfect brightness to apply to your lights.
Below the voice Brightness, you can slide right and left the bar for a more or less intense luminous effect.
Is the brightness the same for all devices?
It is crucial to remember that the brightness percentage that you set using the control panel will yield varying results when applied to different types of LED strings. Specifically, when comparing a string of 100, 250, and 400 LEDs to a string of 600 LEDs, you will observe distinct differences in how brightness is rendered. Therefore, if your intention is to create a cohesive group of devices that all exhibit the same brightness level, we highly recommend that you utilise LED strings of the same length and profile. This approach will ensure a uniform lighting effect across your setup, thereby enhancing the overall aesthetic and functionality of your lighting arrangement.
Another significant aspect to consider is the variation among different LED profiles. Each type of LED is designed with unique characteristics that result in varying levels of brightness. This is particularly important to keep in mind if you are planning to create a group that includes both RGB and RGB+W products. When these two types are used together, you will likely notice a disparity in brightness levels between the two models. Such differences can affect the visual harmony of your lighting design, so it is advisable to carefully consider the compatibility of the LED profiles you choose to incorporate into your group.
