Find out which Twinkly devices are supported by the latest version of the app and what will happen to your installations after the update.
This article refers to Twinkly Generation II devices
Starting from the following app versions:
- iOS: 3.28.0 (4876)
- Android: 3.28.0 (8108)
the Twinkly App will support only Retail products, including Generation I and Generation II devices.
Twinkly Professional products, including:
- Twinkly PRO
- Twinkly Plus
- Twinkly Lightwall
will no longer be supported through the Twinkly App and will be managed through a dedicated application.
What does this mean for my existing setup?
Since the Twinkly App previously supported both Retail and Professional products, the update may affect your account and installations differently depending on your current setup.
Please refer to the table below to understand what will happen after updating the app.

| Only Retail devices | You will continue using the app as before. All your Retail devices, groups, and installations will remain available. |
| Only PRO/Plus devices | You will no longer be able to access your previous setup through the Twinkly App. Your account will no longer be available in the Retail app environment. |
| Mixed group (Retail + PRO/Plus devices) | The mixed group will no longer exist. Groups containing both Retail and Professional devices will be removed. |
| Mixed installation (Retail + PRO/Plus devices) | You will only see Retail devices and Retail groups. PRO/Plus devices will no longer be visible in the Twinkly App. |
| Separate PRO and Retail installations | You will only see your Retail installations. PRO installations will no longer be available in the Twinkly App. |
| Only shared PRO installation | You will still be able to log in, but you will only see your default installation (Sweet Home). |
| Separate shared PRO and Retail installations | You will only see your Retail installations. Shared PRO installations will no longer be available. |
| No installations or devices | You will be able to access the app normally. |
| Login through Facebook or Apple ID | The behavior will depend on your current setup and will follow the scenarios listed above. |
| PRO/Plus installation + Music Dongle | You will no longer be able to access this setup through the Twinkly App. |
| Retail installation + Music Dongle | You will continue seeing and managing your Retail devices and Music Dongle correctly. |
| Retail + Plus installation + Music Dongle | You will only see Retail devices and the Music Dongle. Plus devices will no longer be visible. |
If you manage Professional products, please use the dedicated Professional application to continue managing your Twinkly PRO, Twinkly Plus, and Lightwall devices.
