What do I do if my Twinkly device won’t switch on?

Procedures to follow if your Twinkly device does not turn on.

What to do if the device does not turn on

If the lights don't come on after you plug Twinkly into the power outlet, there are a few tricks you can try to solve the problem:

  • Try plugging Twinkly into a different outlet to rule out that the outlet is the problem.

  • Check that the power adapter is plugged in and that the controller is properly connected to the device

  • Check that the LED status indicator on the controller is lit

  • Briefly press the button on the controller

  • If this doesn’t work, unplug the power adapter, wait 30 seconds and plug it back in.

Check power supply operation

If the light on the controller remains off, there may be a problem with the power supply. In this case, if you have other Twinkly devices at home, we suggest you try temporarily replacing the power supply with that of another device to see if it works.

If you don’t have another power supply to test with, you can test the power supply with a multimeter.

If the power supply fails, simply replace it and everything will work fine again!
