Learn more about the setup to create a Twinkly devices Join group, to extend your lights.
This article refers to Twinkly Generation II & II, Twinkly PRO anche Twinkly Plus
Important note for all types of Groups:
Groups can be created between devices with the same LED profile, as well as between RGB and RGB+W devices. However, AWW products can only be grouped with other AWW devices.
Please read [this article] to learn more about hybrid RGB and RGB+W groups.
When it is recommended to create a Join group?
Join groups allow you to apply sequentially the effects, one string after the other.
This is considered an actual extension of the device.
All LEDs will behave as part of a single string even if they are not physically connected to each other.
It is recommended when you want to create a scene in which two or more devices have to work as if they were one set, for example, to decorate the Christmas tree, one large column, etc.
