Quick solutions when effect sharing links don’t work as expected

Troubleshooting Shared Effect Issues
The effect was deleted by the owner:
Once an effect is deleted, it can no longer be shared, and the sharing link will stop working.
The owner generated new sharing links:
After sharing the link, if the owner generates a new link for the same effect, any previously shared links will become inactive.
In this case, if you know the person who originally shared the link, you can ask them to generate and send a new one. Since sharing is anonymous, knowing the user beforehand is the only way to contact them for a new link. The effect was downloaded but doesn’t appear:
Sometimes the link works and the download completes, but the effect doesn’t show up in your Gallery or Downloads. This usually happens due to incompatibility between your object and the one used to create the effect.
If you don’t see the shared effect, try switching to a different object that may be compatible — you might then be able to view it.
If the effect doesn’t appear with any of the objects in your account, it means you won’t be able to use it for now. However, it may become available in the future if you add a new object that meets the effect’s requirements.
