To keep your Twinkly account secure and make sure every account is associated with a valid email address, Twinkly now requires email verification for new accounts.
New users: Verify your email address
When you create a new Twinkly account, you must verify your email address before you can access your account.
After registration:
- Check your inbox for the email verification message from Twinkly.
- Open the email and follow the instructions to verify your email address.
- Once your email has been verified, you will be able to access your Twinkly account.
Important: If you do not verify your email address, you will not be able to access your account.
Didn't receive the verification email?
If you can't find the verification email:
- Check your Spam, Junk, or Promotions folders.
- Make sure you entered the correct email address.
- Wait a few minutes and check your inbox again.
Existing users: Verify your email address
If you already have a Twinkly account, you will not be asked to verify your email address when logging in.
However, you may see an email verification badge or reminder in the Settings section of the app.
To verify your email:
- Open the Twinkly app.
- Go to Settings.
- Find the email verification reminder.
- Follow the instructions to verify your email address.
Once your email has been successfully verified, the verification reminder will disappear.
Note: Email verification is currently not mandatory for existing users, but this may change in the future.
Users who sign in with Apple ID or Facebook
Email verification does not apply to users who sign in with Apple ID or Facebook, regardless of whether their email address is visible or hidden.
For example, if you use Apple ID with Hide My Email, you do not need to verify the private relay email address generated by Apple.
What about changing my email address?
Email address changes are not currently covered by this procedure. We will provide specific instructions for changing the email address associated with your Twinkly account once this feature becomes available.
