This article refers to Twinkly Generation I & II, Twinkly PRO and Twinkly Plus

What's the Effects Gallery?

The Effects Gallery is the main repository of all your effects.

Here you will find all the pre-loaded designs that you can apply directly on your lights, save as favorites, or edit.

In the gallery, you can also find your personal downloaded effects and the ones you created with the FX Wizard.

Finally, tapping on the Favorite folder, you will find the collection of the effects you flagged as favorites.

What's the Effects Gallery's main features?

The effects available in your Twinkly app can vary depending on the model of your device (e.g. Strings, Curtain, Flex) and the LED profile or mapping strategy you’re using (Simple or 3D).

Effect Thumbnails & LED Profiles

The color of the effect thumbnails in your gallery will automatically adjust to match your Twinkly’s LED profile:

• AWW profiles (Amber, Warm White, and White) will display all effects in golden or warm shades.

• RGB or RGB+W profiles will show more colorful and vibrant effects.

Mixed LED Groups

If your installation includes a mix of LED types (e.g. RGB and RGB+W), the app will display the RGB gallery.
This ensures consistent color rendering, especially for whites, across the entire group of lights.

Overview of the Three Available Effect Galleries:

• RGB – Full-color effects designed for standard RGB LEDs

• RGB+W – Effects optimized for RGB LEDs with an additional dedicated white LED

• AWW – Elegant, warm-toned effects tailored to amber/warm white/white LED profiles
